Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PermitNerd application (the “App”), provided by PermitNerd (“we,” “our,” or “us”) for use within the monday.com platform.

 

By installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

1. Eligibility

​

To use PermitNerd, you must:

​

• Have a valid and active monday.com account

• Be authorized to install apps within your monday.com workspace

• Comply with monday.com’s Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy

​

You represent that you have the legal authority to bind yourself or your organization to these Terms.

​

2. License Grant

​

Subject to these Terms, PermitNerd grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the App solely within the monday.com platform and solely for your internal business purposes.

​

No rights are granted other than those expressly stated.

​​

3. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

​

You agree that you will not:

​

• Use the App in violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights

• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App

• Attempt to bypass security, authentication, or usage limits

• Interfere with or disrupt the operation, performance, or integrity of the App or related systems

• Use the App to store or transmit unlawful, harmful, or malicious content

You are responsible for all activity conducted through your monday.com account and workspace.

4. Plans, Billing & Payments

​

a. Subscription Plans

​

PermitNerd may offer multiple plans (e.g., Free, Starter, Pro, Enterprise), each with different features and usage limits.

​

b. Billing

​

• Billing is handled exclusively through the monday.com Marketplace

• Fees, billing cycles, and plan details are displayed at the time of purchase

• You authorize monday.com to charge applicable fees according to your selected plan

​

c. Refunds

​

All fees are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or explicitly stated by monday.com.

​

5. Data & Privacy

​

Your use of PermitNerd is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect data.

​

By using the App, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

​​

6. Third-Party Services & Data Sources

​

PermitNerd may integrate with or rely on third-party services, including:

 

• monday.com APIs

• Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers

• Public permit data sources

• Optional AI services (if enabled)

​

We are not responsible for third-party services, data accuracy, availability, or outages.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

​

PermitNerd is provided “as is” and “as available.”

 

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

 

• Implied warranties of merchantability

• Fitness for a particular purpose

• Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of permit data

• Availability or uninterrupted operation

Permit and regulatory data may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. You remain responsible for verifying compliance with local authorities.

8. Limitation of Liability

​

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

 

• PermitNerd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

• This includes, without limitation, loss of profits, business interruption, data loss, or regulatory penalties

• Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the App shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim

 

 

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some provisions may not apply to you.

9. Indemnification

​

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PermitNerd from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from:

 

• Your use or misuse of the App

• Your violation of these Terms

• Your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights

10. Suspension & Termination

​

We may suspend or terminate your access to PermitNerd, with or without notice, if:

 

• You violate these Terms

• Your use poses a security or legal risk

• Required by law or monday.com policy

​

Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately.

​​

11. Intellectual Property

​

PermitNerd, including all software, designs, trademarks, logos, and documentation, is owned by PermitNerd and protected by intellectual property laws.

 

You retain ownership of your data, but grant PermitNerd a limited right to process it solely to operate the App.

12. Changes to These Terms

​

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted with a revised Effective Date.

 

Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law & Venue

​

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

 

Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in state or federal courts located in Georgia.
